At the WiseTutor.ai seminar held at our university on February 25, 2026, coordinated by the Department of Software Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz İren from the Open University of the Netherlands and WiseTutor project manager Özgen Güngör introduced the AI-supported intelligent tutoring system to academics and students.
During the event, the development process of WiseTutor, its technical infrastructure, and the pedagogical contributions of LLM-supported education were presented; the core features of the system were demonstrated through a short demo. In the closed session held after the seminar, a course creation demonstration was conducted with the instructors who will participate in the pilot implementation.
